Vouchers for the practice exams are redeemable on the MyNBME services portal. Upon request, the student will be assigned a unique voucher and receive redemption instructions in an email message from the School of Medicine Registrar's Office within 1 - 2 weeks from the submitted request. On an ongoing basis, students can use the SoM Registrar's Office Voucher Request Form to request the Comprehensive Clinical Science (Step 2 CK practice exam).Submitted requests will be processed starting in mid-February. Starting in early February, students can use the SoM Registrar's Office Voucher Request Form to request the NBME Comprehensive Basic Science (Step 1 practice exam).The two types of vouchers are made available to cover the cost of the NBME Comprehensive Basic Science - Expanded Feedback or the Comprehensive Clinical Science - Expanded Feedback self-assessment exams. The Stanford Medicine MD Program will provide pre-paid NBME Self-Assessment Services (NSAS) vouchers upon request for current medical students in their second year or later who are planning to take USMLE Step 1 or Step 2 CK exam this calendar year. The vouchers are an optional resource made available to cover the cost of the NBME Comprehensive Basic Science self-assessment exam or the Comprehensive Clinical Science self-assessment exam.
